New Volunteering Opportunity

Hey NHS Members,

There is a new volunteering opportunity available:

The 2^nd Annual Grant-A-Starr Family 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk needs lots of volunteers on Saturday, February 13 at the Sugar Land Memorial Park.

Time slots are available from 6 AM to 1 PM.

New Volunteering Opportunity

Hey NHS Members,
A new volunteering opportunity has come up:

February 27, 2010
Fort Bend Education Gala
Sugar Land Marriott Hotel

9 AM to 12 Noon
30 volunteers needed to help arrange the ballroom, lift items into ballroom etc. Be dressed in comfortable clothing.

9:30 PM to 11 PM
6 volunteers (junior/senior guys only) needed to help lift/move auction items. You need to be dressed in black trousers/white shirt/tie optional in the evening as this is a formal event.

Sign Ups are posted on the NHS bulletin board outside Ms. Stone’s room.

New Volunteering Opportunity!

NHS Members:

Computer Science is hosting a programming contest on Dec 12^th in the commons. NHS volunteers are needed to help with set up, take down, grading and other aspects of the contest. Setup will be on Dec 11^th starting at 9:30. Contact Ms. Lorena for more information.

New Volunteering Opportunity!

Volunteers are needed on December 1, 2009 at 3:00pm to help set up tables for a Christmas luncheon for the seniors at the Rosenberg location (1330 Band Road Rosenberg, Tx 77471) of Fort Bend Seniors on Wheels.

New Volunteering Opportunity!

Hey NHS Members!

Austin Parkway Elementary is looking for student volunteers for their Walkathon. Students are needed to assist with food sales, games and tickets. The event is on Oct 23 from 4pm to 8pm. At least 20 volunteers are needed. Student Volunteers need to arrive by 3:30 and will receive a free meal ticket. Please contact the following individual for more information:
