Spring Break Jam 2008!

Hi Everyone!

It’s that time of the year again…spring break! We have a lot of fun, exciting and up-beat volunteer opportunities at the Children’s Museum! There is going to be different activities, performances and themes everyday!!

Some of the exciting things to be involved with include:

Mad Match: Thursday, March 13^th

Pi Day: Friday, March 14^th come volunteer during Albert Einstein’s

Birthday with music and fun!

Bandera on the Road: Saturday, March 15^th

Blast from the Past: Sunday, March 16^th

St. Paddy’s Day: Monday, March 17^th

MindFest: Tuesday, March 18^th

Arrgh! “X” Marks the Spot, Wednesday, March 19^th

Talent Fever, Thursday, March 20^th

That’s Egg-Credible!, Friday and Saturday, March 21^st and 22^nd

The Magic School Bus, Monday, March 24^th

**Also, the Kid’s Café has numerous volunteer opportunities everyday! **

Spring Break at the Museum is always busy with kids and families and the Museum would greatly appreciate your help! There are SO MANY fun activities going on during the week, you don’t want to miss the chance to volunteer! Let me know in advance if you would like to sign-up! If you have any questions about the different activities, please let me know!

In case some of you don’t know, I’m the new volunteer coordinator at the Children’s Museum. I’m very excited to be here and can’t wait to meet and work with you! If you every have ANY questions, please let me know!!

New Volunteer Event: Mathcounts Competition

Hi everyone,

NHS has a new volunteer ready for you.  It’s the Bay Area Chapter Mathcounts competition, and they need some teen volunteers for this event.

Date: Feb. 9, 2008

Time: 8AM-12PM

Location: Fluor Corporation Cafeteria Facility, 1 Fluor Daniel Drive, Sugar Land, TX 77478

No math skills are required!  Just be able to follow directions….

This is great for those of you who need to make up hours!
