Hey fellow NHS members, I just wanted to make you guys aware of the Leadership Development Conference (LDC) this summer from June 9-12. Any leadership conference is a great thing to put on college apps, and this one, specifically, is through the American Red Cross. Since it is through the American Red Cross (non-profit organization), the cost of this leadership conference is very low, only $150! Note: this is not an NHS affiliated event, you will not get any NHS hours for this… I am simply informing you of a great leadership opportunity this summer. If you would like even more information, talk to John Zhao or our school nurse (Mrs. Hoogerwerf). Sign up by mailing in the application form (click here for it) to the address specified on it by May 31st. Note: Transportation to the beautiful location (Camp Allen, Navasota, Texas) will be provided from the General Houston Area Red Cross Chapter Office-and back as specified on the LDC Flier (click here for it).
