This service opportunity was brought to our attention by an NHS member who volunteers at the First Colony Health and Rehabilitation Center Nursing Home every other Saturday at 3 p.m. Volunteers spend time with the Alzheimer’s Unit residents, and the next day that the home will be expecting volunteers is December 13. This is a good opportunity to get in NHS hours, either NHS-related or not. I hope some of you will be able to participate!
