Congratulations to everyone!

If you are still interested in a leadership position in NHS, we are starting an executive leadership committee, for all candidates to participate in the leadership of our organization. The Executive Leadership Committee will manage important tasks such as meeting attendance, accountability for dues and fundraisers, and chairmanship of our annual service projects. We are a large and active organization that can always use more solid leaders. Please e-mail one of the sponsors if you are interested.

 

Senior Dance!

This year’s senior citizen dance will be held on Saturday, March 26, at Clements High School from 2 to 4 p.m. This  is a required event for all NHS members! You must either volunteer for at least one hour or, if you cannot make the event, you must donate a door prize for the event. The door prizes would be awarded to our senior guests so think of things they would enjoy: gift certificates to restaurants, gift cards to grocery stores, picture frames, soap or lotion baskets, plants, or playing cards. If your family owns a business and would like to contribute a door prize, we have tax donation forms for deduction purposes.

Students should dress reasonably well– in dress pants or dresses. The theme this year is Hawaiian luau so consider Hawaiian shirts or Party City for fun items to wear.
